The Limited Certified Food Manager's Card can be used in some jurisdictions by establishments which serve exclusively pre-packaged food, or do not prepare or handle TCS food. Its limited scope makes it ideal for convenience stores, coffee shops, ice cream parlors, and other businesses which do not prepare or handle potentially hazardous food products. Contact your local Health Department to determine if you qualify for the Limited program. 

Steps to acquire a LIMITED Northern Virginia Certified Food Manager (NVCFM) Card:
1: First, it is necessary to take and pass the Limited Food Manager’s Exam. This can be done only at ORS Interactive, and no other tests will be accepted. Testing hours are from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday and Wednesday, and 9a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday. 2: Once you have passed the Limited Food Manager’s Exam (with a score of 70% or higher) ORS Interactive will take your photo and issue your Limited NVCFM card for $40 (cash, credit card, and company check accepted).
