Getting Ready to Take the ServSafe Online Food Safety Training and Exam Preparation Course, and redeem your FREE Proctored Administration of the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification Exam
Before you can begin the ServSafe Online Food Safety Training and Exam Preparation Course, and later redeem your FREE Proctored Administration of the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification Exam, you need to have a working email address you can access directly from your cell phone or another device, and you must register/create a ServSafe Account for yourself at www.servsafe.com It is recommended that you use a personal email account because your ServSafe account is yours, independent of your employment.
To create a ServSafe Account, you need a cell phone with direct access to your email account because ServSafe will send you a 6-digit verification code you must confirm on the ServSafe website before your Account can be verified.

We also suggest you create an easy password to remember. For example, 1) the name of someone you love which begins with a Capital letter (Evelyn), the year this person was born (1931), and either an exclamation mark (!) or a hashtag (#). The password’s final format will look something like this: Evelyn1931#
Once you have completed the ServSafe Online Food Safety Training and Exam Preparation Course and feel prepared to schedule your FREE Proctored Administration of the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification Exam, must send an email to moc.evitcaretnisro%40ofni or call (703) 819-0035 to register and be officially added to our Schedule of Proctored Exams. 
When you arrive, we will provide your ServSafe Test Taker Code and provide a brief orientation to assist you in completing the Exam.
The ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification Exam (English, Spanish and Chinese) is available on a scheduled basis only. Testing Hours are 9:30 am, 10:30 am, 11:30 am, 12:30 pm, and 1:30 pm from Monday to Wednesday and the second Saturday of every month. There is a 2-hour time limit to complete the 90 question Exam. 
Results (score of 70% or higher required to pass the Exam) are generated immediately upon completion of the Exam. ServSafe® e-Certification for everyone who passes the ServSafe® Exam is available later the same day via the ServSafe website (send to yourself or anyone in an email or print as a PDF on any printer). 
The Northern Virginia Food Manager Photo ID Certificate / Card is included FREE ($40 value) for those who pass the Exam. 

Those who fail a ServSafe Exam administered by ORS Interactive have the right to retake the Exam for only $45 (our cost). ORS provides this type of “insurance” policy because it’s our goal to help our industry colleagues rightfully “earn” their professional certifications. Anyone who fails the Exam and needs to retake the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification Exam must first send an email to moc.evitcaretnisro%40ofni or call (703) 819-0035 to be officially added to the schedule.
