What is the difference between Limited and Standard Food Manager Cards?

Limited is mostly for those who sell pre-packaged foods, hot dogs or Frankfurt type foods.
Also included would be places like Starbucks, CVS Pharmacy, Hot Dog Carts, pool concession stand’s, ice cream and yogurt shops

Check with your local health Department to confirm your eligibility to the Limited Food Manager Program.

How do I apply for a Limited Food Manager Card?

You have to take a 20 question exam and pass with 70% score or above. The cost for the exam is US$15.00, and you will be granted a Limited Food Manager Card for 5 years from the date of your exam. Bring a valid ID (Driver’s License, Identification card or passport) and the fee of $45.00

How do I apply for a Standard Food Manager Card?

You have to successfully pass one of the tree nationally accredited examinations (Servsafe, Thompson-Prometric or NRFSP). We offer the exams here in our office if you have not taken the exam before.

If you have taken the exam please come in with original certificate, an ID (Driver’s License, Identification card or passport) and the fee of $45.00

What hours are you open?

We open Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm and Saturdays from 8 am to 1 pm. No appointments needed – just walk in.

Please keep in mind that if you need to take an exam you need to arrive here 2 hours before we close to allow enough time from your exam.
