Mauricio Carvalho

Mauricio Carvalho is the Director of Operations for ORS Interactive, Inc. and has been overseeing the North Virginia Certified Food Manager (NVCFM) Certification Program since 2004. He has many years of experience working in the foodservice, catering and tourism industry as well as with information technology, networks, and surveillance and quality assurance systems.

A native of São Paulo, Brazil, Mauricio is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese. He holds a Diploma in Business Administration from Synesio Martins Institute in São Paulo, Brazil and has completed additional coursework at George Washington University.

Joe Weeks

Joe Weeks is a Customer Service Representative and has served as a Food Safety Instructor for ORS Interactive, Inc. and the North Virginia Certified Food Manager (NVCFM) Certification Program since 2008. He has several years of experience working in the restaurant and foodservice industry as well as with general education, pedagogy, curriculum development and instructional techniques.

A native of Loudoun County, Virginia, Joe holds a Degree in Political Science from Virginia Tech and is currently working on a Graduate Degree in Education at George Washington University.
